The iHobby Experience Center is the place for creative minds looking for inspiration and the latest trends in the field of DIY and hobby.
Since January 1, 2025 the iHobby Experience Center is no longer a store but a studio. Here you can take a look into the world of creativity and DIY. Join one of our workshops where we work with the latest trends and materials or where we bring old techniques back to life. Plan a workshop with friends or your children's party with us!
We are open by appointment for workshops and parties.
Workshops
Do you like to be creative and do you enjoy discovering something new? Then join one of our workshops! We offer a varied range of workshops in which you can get creative with our best materials. Whether you come alone or with friends, there is something to discover for everyone, from beginners to advanced..
The workshops take place in our own cosy studio at a fixed time under professional supervision. During the workshops you get the opportunity to learn new techniques and to make your own unique creations.

Children's party
Are you looking for a creative children's party? Celebrate with a craft activity in the iHobby Experience Center! We provide a festive day with decorations, something to eat and drink and a fantastic workshop with excellent materials under professional supervision.
Workshop ideas:
- Mosaic: Introduce the children to mosaics on an MDF figure such as dinosaurs, unicorns, princesses or animals.
- Craft a monster: In this workshop the children get to work and create their own monster from clay and learn how to add accessories!
- Textile: Get started with Posca! Children can design and color their own bag, t-shirt or pencil case.
- Pixelhobby: Make keychains with the many designs from pixelhobby. Discover the endless possibilities.
- Jewellery: In this workshop the children will make their own bracelets, necklaces or other jewelry.
Prices: between €12,50 and €15,00 depending on the workshop
Optional: Would you like to add facepainting and glitter tattoos as an option to the party?
- Facepainting or glitter tattoos: €5,-- per child
- Facepainting & glitter tattoos: €6,-- per child

Private workshops
Looking for a fun activity to spend an evening relaxing with family, friends, the craft club or another group? Book a private workshop for 4 people or more. We get to work with our best materials and creative ideas.
Workshop ideas:
- Casting Jesmonite: Where we create something new from powder and liquid and decorate it.
- Candle: Learn how to make a candle and decorate it.
- Mosaic: Using wood or mdf and create beautiful patterns
- Painting: Acrylics or aquarel: Learn the basics
- Macramé: Let's create some wall decoration, earrings, keychains or other home decorations.
- Crochet: Learn the basics, amigurumi or something more advanced
- Knitting: Learn the basics
- Sip & Paint: In this relaxed workshop we will work on painting on canvas while enjoying a delicious drink (soft drink or wine)
The workshops take place in our own studio under supervision.

You can find our studio at Raadhuisplein 31A. You can park in front of the door for free with the blue parking disc. The railway station and bus stop are within walking distance. Come to the creative heart of Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel and be inspired!
