The power of paper mache pulp
With paper mache you can easily make art in 3D. Paper mache pulp is durable, color-fast pulverized paper for making paper mache figures. At iHobby you will find paper mache pulp that you can make with water, ideal for your Sinterklaas surprise for example!
How do you use paper mache pulp?
The pulverized paper is pre-mixed with a little glue, so you only have to mix it with water. Mix 3 parts pulp and 1 part water to a pap-like consistency. Make a little each time, because the pulp is very efficient to use. Next, model the pulp with your hands to a firm consistency. You can make the pulp up to 1 day in advance and store it in a bucket with a lid. Press, shape and level the pulp on top of non-absorbent items, or model it into small flat items on, for example, a plastic bag or balloon. The thicker the layer, the longer the drying time. Allow to dry in a warm place for 3-7 days.
