Fimo

FIMO is a Staedtler brand and has existed since 1954. FIMO is a wildly popular modeling clay. The clay is gladly used by children, hobbyists and professionals. But what makes FIMO so very popular?

FIMO has two different kinds of modeling clay: an oven-hardening and air-drying.

The oven-hardening was the first type of clay developed by FIMO. Due to the ingredients used, the clay is firmer than ‘ normal ’ clay. In addition, there is a wide range of colors. When the clay has hardened, it can be processed with acrylic and oil paint or suitable markers.
